A large group consisting primarily of TOCers was on hand today for this awesome tour. Derek, our very knowledgeable guide, led us inside and out of Union Station. We explored many areas of the building that are normally not accessible to the general public.

We learned that Union Station is one of the busiest transit hubs in the world movie more people than even the fabled Grand Central in New York. Derek also told us about plans to turn Union into a shopping 'destination' with people coming in not just to travel but to shop, eat, and explore the beauty of the building.

A trip up to the old offices was wild with stickers on the walls from times that Union has portrayed various police stations. We also saw really old indoor plumbing, a cool electric baggage cart system, and much more.
