| More than 60 members came out for the first social event of 2009, with the majority voluntarily making their $20 annual donation, and collecting a cool Toronto 2009 badge for their generosity. This fund raiser has given the TOC coffers a great boost for 2009 and means that we now have some idea of the available budget, and can therefore plan paid or subsidized activities well in advance. Volunteers note well, if you ask for donations on an event, and a member waves a 2009 TOC badge at you, they've donated for the year :-) | |
| All 4 pool tables were in action for most of the evening, and those not wielding a pool cue caught up with old friends, made new acquaintances, and generally had a good time! Organizers of future TOC Pool Tournaments note: there are a couple of real pool sharks out there... | |
