Well, it turned out to be an on-again, off-again day where the weather was concerned but for those souls who braved the wilds of the Humber Arboretum, it was an enjoyable afternoon. While the fall colours are definitely past their best, many trees are still hanging on to their last leaves and for part of the walk, we were under a brilliant yellow canopy. The combination of cool fall afternoon, blustery wind and rain showers gave a definite feeling of the oh-too-soon to be with us winter but good company and good conversation more than made up for the chilly conditions. After a couple of hours of leisurely wandering around the Arboretum, the various groups rounded out the afternoon by removing themselves to Jack Astor's for a brew and sustenance. Many thanks to those members who stuck with the agenda and came out regardless of the forecast. Phoenix, we want to see those 100+ photos!
