Write Up:

A sunny afternoon, warm temperatures and 6 keen golfers - what more can a golfer ask for?

The group warmed up on the Cardinal Golf driving range and then headed to Kettle Creek for 18 holes. For Kim, this was the first time she'd ever held a golf club. Alison did her best to give Kim enough information to be able to handle a golf course, without overloading her with details, and Kim learned to swing a club, to line up putts, and then played a very respectable round of golf for a beginner.

Perkin, Matthew and Rich charged out of the gate on the front nine, getting far enough ahead to have time for a beer between nines, but Alison, Kim and Pierre kept them within view on the second nine.

A cool pint at Wegz after the round, a rehash of our golf - good and bad - and watching the last few holes of the Women's Canadian Opoen ended a very pleasant afternoon...
