Unlike Friday, the weather started out Sunny and dry, and remained that way for the entire day. Mono Cliffs is a beautiful park to hike in. It's not a strenuous hike, but from the beginning we split into a fast group and the smell the flowers group. I think that suited all of us well. I was just happy that we had enough people to do so! Mihal, Keren, the Jenns kept to the front for most of the hike, so I didn't get to spend enough chatting time, although I had both Jenns in my car pool. It's not everyday that you meet another person in the pension business!

Cheryl, Ben, Avinash & Laura seemed to form their own group and were getting along just fine - I heard some laughing and joking around from their direction all day - they all seemed to survive Ben's company! Rocky made Avinash and Laura a little uncomfortable at first as he is a big dog, but once they realized he was only after their lunches, they seemed to relax somewhat. I spent a lot of time planning our camping trips with Mitch and Sue - who were a couple years older than the average age of the group, but were just as enthusiastic as any one of us. Camping with them is going to be great. They have lots of ideas on what to do when we are there. Frank almost didn't make it to the trailhead, but fortunately he ran into our car and got to follow us in. Luckily we held up the group before hand with a trip to Tim Hortons in Orangeville -otherwise he would have never made it! Speaking of which, he almost didn't make it to the end of the hike as he's nursing an injury which started to cramp up near the end. Mitch, Sue and I sent him home via the 'short cut I was sure was not the short cut the fast group planned to take', then backtracked to find the rest of the group. Turns out I was wrong. You know, I really do have a good sense of direction, I just never know where I'm supposed to be. When we finally emerged to the parking lot, Mihal and Keren had already headed home, but everyone else was lounging around in the sun and Jenn (1) had volunteered to try and find us. I made up to everyone by suggesting we go to Kelsey's and I think we ended the day off with some great conversation and lots of laughs. :)
