EVENT DETAILS

So, I've randomly selected a hike out of my personal urban hiking database for today's hike.

This 9.5 KM hike will travel between North York Centre Station & Finch Station.

PACE: We'll aim for a quicker pace of 4.5- 5.5 km/h

The hike will be on a combination of cemetery roads, single track dirt trails, some sidewalks and paved park paths.

In terms of hills, there's probably about 1 climb of 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop at a city of Toronto washroom about 45 minutes into the hike, but no guarantees that it will be open.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS HIKE IS STARTING AT 7 PM RATHER THAN MY TRADTIONAL 7:30 START TIME, IN ORDER TO GET THROUGH THE CEMETERY BEFORE IT CLOSES AND WE GET LOCKED IN WITH THE GHOSTS

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A EARLY SUBWAY CLOSURE BETWEEN ST CLAIR AND COLLEGE STATION AT 11 PM

    For those driving:

There is street parking in the area, west of Beecroft Rd

Or, there's a pay parking lot on the North- East corner at Empress/Park Home and Yonge Street, which is three traffic lights north of Sheppard Ave. Then it's just a short walk to the Starbucks, which is located on the south-west side.
