EVENT DETAILS

This is my 1st time leading this version of the longer Forks of the Credit south route hike. The terrain is variable, with hilly and rocky sections.

This hike has a nice lookout and a view of a waterfall (from two different angles).

    EVENT STATS
  • Distance: 18 KM
  • Trail vs Road: 14 vs 4
  • Elevation Range: 150 Meters
  • Challenging Climbs of Note: 2 hills, 1 flight of stairs
  • Largest Ascent: 150 m
  • Challenges: Can be muddy this time of the year, very rocky in some areas, especially up the Devil's Pulpit
  • Highlights: Waterfall in Forks of the Credit & Lookout at the top of the Devil's Pulpit
  • Washrooms: 2 (pass one if them twice)

If you cannot walk the entire distance, please do not sign up for this hike.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE TOC'S CURRENT COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS THAT THERE IS NO CARPOOL FOR THIS HIKE

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.
