Itinerary:

THIS IS LOOP HIKE

We'll be hiking through Rogue Park and the Altona Forest in Pickering.

We will leave at 10:35AM from our starting location. We will arrive at the end around 1:00PM.

This is an 10km hike.

Start Meet by the TTC bus stop at the corner of Zoo Road and the Meadowvale Road off-ramp. (see Google Streetview below) Please arrive on time as we will be leaving at 10:35 AM sharp.
End This is a loop hike. The hike will end at the starting location.
Distance Approx. 10 km
Pace 4.5 km/hour (slightly above average pace for fit, above-average pace for others)
Trail Conditions We will be walking on sand, dirt and paved trails, sidewalks and grass.
Difficulty This is a D3 hike. WARNING: Please make sure you are able to hike for 2.5 hours before signing up.

Event Directions:BY CAR: There is free parking at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre.

BY BUS: Take the 86A Bus from Kennedy Station or the 85A/B from Don Mills Station. The buses run very frequently and only takes about 30 minutes.
