PACE: 4.5 to 5 km/h

DIFFICULTY: D4 (because of the distance and terrain)

ICERS: we may need icers for this hike. Be prepared. You should keep icers in your pack during the winter months.

This hike is for intermediate and strong intermediate hikers. Advanced hikers are welcome, but note that the pace may be a bit more relaxed than my usual quick pace, although this will not be a slow hike. There are lots of hills and challenging terrain.
There will be no dropouts on this hike. If you can not hike the distance, please do not sign up for this hike.

The map above shows our approximate route and distance 1 way. This is a there and back hike.
We will stop for a lunch break along the trail

MAX hikers: about 15 (+ or -)
I set the Maximum Group Size to 4, because I can take 3 passengers.
Members who have a good attendance history, and members who are willing to drive may get priority.
If you prefer, you can drive and meet us at the hike starting location.

  • Water 2 - 3 L (as much as you need)

How to Get There:

If you will be using the TTC to get to the carpool, it is your responsibility to plan ahead and plan to leave plenty of travel time to arrive before the departure time.

Carpooling? Please arrive before the departure time. If you are late, you will miss the carpool, and the hike.

If you choose to meet at the event, please arrive on time, we will not wait for late comers.
