Itinerary:

The Humber River is a popular hike for urban hiking, so we'll do a modified 'Figure Eight' route beginning and ending at Old Mill station. This hike involves a lot of road walking and the end of the route is hilly.

We'll follow this route

  1. Start from Old Mill Subway Station
  2. North on Home Smith Park Drive
  3. East on Dundas
  4. South on the Humber River
  5. East across the Queensway
  6. North on the Kingsway & Riverside Dr
  7. West on Bloor
  8. End at Old Mill Subway Station

On this hike, we will try to walk at a pace between 4.5 km/h and 5 km/h.

Total distance traveled = 12 km

  • Good footwear - running shoes are okay
  • Flashlight or headlight

    Old Mill Subway Station is located on the Bloor/Danforth Subway line, 12 stops west of St. George and 3 stops east of Kipling. We'll meet inside near the ticket booth
