Itinerary:

This hike will start at 10:00 AM. We'll start at Leslie Subway Station and end at Victoria Park Subway Station. We will maintain a moderate pace of 4.5 km/hr with a few breaks. The majority of this hike is pavement walking though parks, mainly flat as a pancake, with a few small hills, and an optional 119 stair climb in Taylor Creek Park just for fun. Those who do not want to climb the stairs can take a break and wait for the climbers to ascend and descend. The only reason this hike is a D4 Difficulty is because it is a bit longer than the average urban hike.

Please arrive on time, we will start promptly.

This is the route we will take.

  1. Start from the S.W. Corner of Leslie & Sheppard
  2. South along the Betty Sutherland Trail
  3. Further south along the CN Leside Rail Spur
  4. Through Edwards Gardens
  5. South through Wilket Creek Park
  6. South through E.T. Seaton Park
  7. Through Taylor Creek Park
  8. Through Dentonia Park
  9. End at Victoria Park Station

Event Directions:

We'll be meeting at the South-West corner of Sheppard & Leslie, which is just outside Leslie Subway Station. Leslie station is located on the Sheppard Subway Line.

If arriving on the Subway Subway line, please exit the station following the signs marked "TO LESLIE STREET"
