Itinerary:
A couple of weeks ago, the first instalment of Toronto's Best Gelato was announced with very little notice. I'm not doing a lot better this time, but given the nature of the beast, I'm sure we'll have a good group to join me on my summer's quest: visit the 9 "best" gelato shops in Toronto.

The weather last time was amazing! Not too hot, not too cold… as Goldilocks would say, it was Just Right. No predicting if this weekend will be as good, but currently Sunday is forecast for 31 and no rain!

So here are the "rules of the game". Each "best of gelato" event will feature one gelato shop in Toronto. That shop will be over the 1/2 way mark, but still leave room for some "walking off" afterwards. And so here are the particulars of this week's event:

  • Approx. 12.7 km total
  • As we'll be in the city, drop outs are allowed (but please sign up only if you really intend to try to do the total distance)
  • Since we'll need to work off the indulgence, average pace will be 5.5 km / hr.
  • Start location: York Mills subway station (parking $4 on weekends)
  • End Location: Yonge / Eglinton
  • Those who wish can join me to walk back to York Mills for an extra ~2.5km.
  • In the event of heavy rain forecast, I will cancel and then reschedule the event
