Itinerary:
Are you ready for winter hikes outside of the city? Well, you can learn it the hard way... or come test your gear on this hike.

In current weather conditions icers (also known as ice-cleats, crampons, etc) should work great, and you should check how they work for you (are they comfortable, are they the right size?)

We will go north along Humber River from Old Mill to Scarlett Mills, then veer off to Royal York Rd where you will take a bus to the subway - either going south to Royal York Station, or east to Eglinton station. There will be Tim Hortons 5km in our way.

There will be short but fairly steep hills along the way, and the surface under the snow will be a mix of pavement and gravel. We will go at a relatively relaxed 3.5km/h pace.

Again, don't forget to bring your icers and flashlights!!!
