Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for this evening.

This 12.5 KM hike will go between Finch Station & Pioneer Village Station

The hike will on be on paved park paths, but could be covered in ice & snow.

In terms of hills, there should be about 2 climbs of 25 meters or so and 1 climb of 50 meters.

Sadly, all the potential washroom stops are closed this time of the year.
Don't hate me, hate the city of Toronto.
There is one located in Finch Terminal beside where we're starting & at the YRT bus terminal at Pioneer Village Station.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.

  • How to Get There:
    Event Directions:

So, we'll meet outside the Finch Go Bus Terminal on the N.E. corner of Yonge & Bishop/Hendon.
If it's cold or wet, then I'll just be inside the GO Bus terminal.

For those traveling from the subway:
    - exit the subway where the ticket booth is on the concourse level,
    - turn right follow the path down past the Tim Hortons,
    - then you can take a right at either the first staircase or the first escalator to get out to the N.E. corner / Finch Go Bus Terminal.
Also, you can just follow the signs for the GO Bus Terminal, whichever is easiest.

For those of you driving, the N.E. corner of Hendon / Bishop is located one traffic light north of Finch.
The entrance to the TTC parking lot is located one further traffic light north on the east side.

Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt.
