EVENT DETAILS

Welcome to my Hike For A Pint Series, where we'll be walking to either a brewery or interesting pub in the city.
The group size will be capped based on either reservation size or however many people I think I can get into a location.

You must be 19 or older to sign up for this hike.

Today's hike will traverse 2 KM from Mimico Go Station to a mystery location near the intersection of Islington Avenue & Evans Road.
Why is the hike so short, well I have a ankle injury, so I can't walk that far.

If you register for this event, I'm going to ask that you come to the pub because:

  • 1. you could be taking a spot away from someone on the wait list who otherwise wanted to attend.
  • 2. Also because I could have a reservation and they are expecting a certain amount of people.

The entirety of this hike is along sidewalks.

In terms of hills, well its pretty flat.

No washrooms on the hike or near the start of the walk, but its a really really short hike.

Warning: Food options are pretty limited at this location, so you might want to bring your own - outside food is permitted.

    We'll aim for a pace of 4-5 km/h.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.
