So, on August 10th, I sprained my left ankle.
I've spent the last month
it heal and am ready to start hiking again.
So, today's 5 KM is just a short route starting at Runnymede Station, heading over to High Park Station.
This hike will be on a combination of neighbourhood sidewalks, dirt trails and paved multi use trails.
There should be about 2 climbs of about 25 meters during the hike.
I'll stop for a washroom break about 3.5 km into the hike.
We'll aim for a slower pace of 3.5 to 4 KM/h
Post hike, if anyone's interested I might head to one of the cafes in the area for a bite to eat and a coffee, if you'd like to join.
|How to Get There:|
Meet @ the Runnymede Road exit of the Runnymede Subway Station.
NOTE: Do not meet in front of the Kennedy Road exit or else you won't find me
Runnymede Subway Station is located on the Bloor Subway line, 10 stations west of St. George and 5 stations east of Kipling.
For those of you driving, the subway entrance is located on the east side of Runnymede, just north of Bloor. In terms of parking, there is street parking available on the side streets south of Bloor.
