We will be hiking along the Niagara Escarpment in
Hamilton, visiting a number of waterfalls along the way
and hiking up and down the escarpment.
This is a D4 hike for the pace and length. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS HIKE IS YOU CANNOT HANDLING HIKING UP AND DOWN THE ESCARPMENT MULTIPLE TIMES, WHILE MAINTAIN A STEADY HIKING PACE We'll have lunch in Hamilton before starting the hike. We will have lunch at Culanto, a Peruvian restaurant in Hamilton - http://culantro.ca/ There is free parking located at the back of Culantro restaurant and on nearby side streets. After lunch, we will drive to the starting location of the hike. There is free on-street parking located near the Kimberly Stairs. We will likely be back in Toronto around 4:30pm.This is a 10 km hike. The hike (include breaks) will take 2-2.5 hours. Driving will take approximately 45 minutes each way. Lunch will take about one hour.
