Itinerary:

This is a nice walk through some of Toronto greatest ravines and also one of my favorite routes. I'm especially excited to do this hike, because with the Don Valley Trail recently closed, I haven't been able to lead this hike for about a year and a half.

Much of the walking will be on paved paths, however there will be occasional dirt and gravel walking, so hiking boots or hiking shoes are recommended.

Start from Castle Frank Subway Station and end at Castle Frank Station.

Distance is approx. 11.5 km


Required Items to Bring:

Good footwear (Hiking Boots/Shoes Preferred)

Water 1-2 L and snacks

Flashlight or headlight

Weather appropriate clothing

Castle Frank Subway Station is located on the Bloor Subway Line, two stops east of Yonge Station.

Let's meet beside the collectors booth at the Castle Frank Road Exit. That exit is the eastern exit from the platform, also the one with the escalator. If you don't know where the eastern side of the platform is, then follow the direction of the eastbound train. Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt
