Itinerary:


Hiking in Mount Nemo Conservation Area followed by visit of a local orchard with an opportunity to pick apples and have a lunch, coffee, cider, apple pie and purchase some local produce. Attention: you have to pay for apples you pick.

This trip combines scenic trails with visit of a local orchard to pick apples and have a lunch, coffee or cider and apple pie.

CARPOOL DEPARTURE Kipling subway station passengers' pick-up, Saturday, September 2, 8:30 AM.
DISTANCE ca 8 km (two trails)
PACE Ca 3.5-4 km/hour. No dropouts. Please make sure that you can keep up with hiking the distance without slowing down a lot or repeatedly stopping. We will have couple of stops to take photographs.
TRAIL DETAILS We will hike as a group two very scenic trails through a partly rugged terrain of mixed hardwood forest. .
LUNCH You can bring your own lunch and have a picnic after the hike or have a lunch at the orchard (they have delicious soups, sandwiches and also coffee and pies)
HIGHLIGHTS Hiking and visit of an orchard to pick your own apples (you have to pay for apples you pick)
PRIORITY Priority will go to DRIVERS WILLING TO TAKE PASSENGERS. Additional spots will be added depending on space in the carpool. Big thank you to drivers!!
