FALL COLOURS AT GEORGIAN BAY + BREWERY

This hike combines scenic Ontario trails with tasty local craft beers and dinner. Enjoy a fun hike followed by by a dinner/snack with locally brewed beers not carried by the LCBO.

CARPOOL DEPARTURE Kipling subway station passengers' pick-up, Saturday October 22, 9:00 AM.
DISTANCE 18 km (two trails 13+5 km)
PACE Ca 4-4.5 km/hour. No dropouts. Please make sure that you can keep up with hiking the distance without slowing down a lot or repeatedly stopping. We will take a break for lunch and have couple of stops to take photographs.
TRAIL DETAILS We will hike as a group two of Awenda trails through a partly rugged terrain of mixed hardwood forest. .
BEER After the hike will drive to a brewery in Barrie which is on the way back to Toronto.
HIGHLIGHTS Picturesque fall colours at Georgian Bay in Awenda. And Barnstormer Brewing Company offering tasty seasonal beers to try and warm food including delicious pizzas too...
PRIORITY Priority will go to DRIVERS WILLING TO TAKE PASSENGERS. Additional spots will be added depending on space in the carpool. Big thank you to drivers!!
WEATHER Cancellation in the case of heavy rain, lightning and/or thunder

  • -rain gear, hat, mitts and appropriate clothing for the weather.
