Please join me to the 2016 Ride for the Rouge fundraising event
The 23rd Annual Ride for the Rouge takes place on Saturday May 14, 2016.
We all have found memories of hiking the Rouge Valley Park. The Ride consists of a 25 km or 50 km route for cyclists. All money raised through your donations and collected pledges will ensure the continued operation of the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre and its education, conservation and environmental restoration programs as well as guided interpretive hikes and other programs.
The Ride and Hike start and finish at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre located at 1749 Meadowvale Road, near the Toronto Zoo. Entertainment, food and prizes will be provided to participants and pledge collectors.

Required Items to Bring:
  • Good humour
  • Bicycle in good working order
  • Bicycle helmet
  • Registration form and fee (if not pre-registered; cash or cheques only please)
  • Pledge money and pledge forms if any(cash or cheques only please)
  • Signed waiver form

We'll meet on the South-East corner of Meadowvale Rd and Park Rd, near the TTC bus stop.

If coming from the 401:
Take Exit 389 to Meadowvale Road (going North) to Park Road.

If coming by Transit:
Take either the bus 85 or bus 86

Notes:
  • There would be registration fees for this event. The fees would be paid to the Rouge Valley Conservation Center directly.
  • I registered online under the group name "Friends of the Rouge". If more than five people register in that group, the registration fees would be $25 per person, otherwise it will be $30.Please bring cash or cheques.
  • Please register online or in person on the event day.
  • Parking instructions will be provided on the 2016 Ride for the Rouge website.
