Itinerary:

We'll be hiking in the gritty and interesting Monarch Park and "The Pocket" neighbourhoods of Toronto.

This is a short 6.5km hike, ending at a poetry/open mic event on the Danforth.

The hike will end at the ArtBar Poetry event: http://www.artbar.org/

Admission is free/pwyc.

Start	Meet in front of Woodbine Station by the Ticket Collector Please arrive on time as we will be leaving at 6:35PM sharp.
End	The hike will end near Broadview Station, at the Black Swan Tavern
Distance	Approx. 6.5 km
Pace	4.0 km/hour (average pace for fit and younger individuals, above-average pace for others)
Trail Conditions	We will be walking on sidewalks and paved trails.
Difficulty	This is a D2 hike. Anyone who is a regular walker should be able to hike this route and keep up with the group.
Weather	5 degrees and sunny
