Please join me on my first enjoyable moderate hike on a section of the Bruce trail from the Rattlesnake Point to the beautiful Crawford Lake.

Although there are some hills, uneven terrain and maybe some muddy areas, the hike is a true pleasure: we will visit few amazing outlooks, the board walk around Crawford lake and see some newly exhibited sculptures of the local artist. We will hike at a moderate pace of 4km/hr taking breaks for water and photos.

We'll start at Rattlesnake Point Conservation area close to the upper parking lot and follow the Nassagaweya Canyon Trail (7.2 km - about 2 to 2.5 hours) to Crawford Lake Conservation Area. We'll take a lunch break at the reconstructed 15th century Iroquoian village at Crawford Lake. Then we'll hike back to our starting point.

Please bring a lunch and at least 1-2 Litres of water. Delicious snacks will be provided after our lunch to celebrate my first hiking trip!!!

Fees: The park’s entrance fee is $6.75 per adult.
