Itinerary:

So, on Monday night, I finished my final paper of the year (due next tuesday), so it opens this Friday up and since I don't have any plans friday, I'll do another urban hike.

Meet at Rosedale Subway Station, outside the station entrance.

We will follow this path:

  1. Depart Rosedale Subway Station and east through the Rosedale Neighborhood.
  2. Travel west through the Park Drive Ravine
  3. Back east through the northern Rosedale Nieghborhood and past Rosedale Park (Home of the first Grey Cup)
  4. Down the hill at Chorley Park
  5. North through the Moore Ravine and East through the Bennington Heights neighborhood
  6. North through Crothers Woods
  7. South on the Don Valley Trail to Riverdale Park
  8. North through Riverdale Park and finish at Broadview Station.

Total distance is 12 km with one steep downhill and we'll try to do a pace of 4.5 - 5.0 km/h.

Following the hike, those interested can join me for a pint at Allen's

Event Directions:Rosedale Subway Station is located on the Yonge Line, 1 station north of Bloor and 4 stations south of Eglinton.
