Itinerary:

HIKE TO THE ONLY

It's summer and there's nothing better than a good hike followed by a trip to the pub...

Total distance will be 12 km and we will pick up the pace a little to 5.5 km/h. We'll start at St Clair West Subway Station and from there our route will be:

  1. South past Casa Loma to Dupont
  2. Sidestreets over to David Balfour Park where we'll loop around the Brickworks
  3. North east on the Don Valley Trail
  4. Short cut from Millwood down to Danforth where we'll go for a pint. Please do not sign up if you are not coming to the pub afterwards for a pint.


Who knows what kind of weather we may get, so be prepared that this hike will go ahead unless there's a hurricane or tornado. Bring rain gear! If it starts to rain we will leave the ravines and head to a roadway. The trail may be muddy and wet in places so wear proper walking footwear. We will walk at a quicker pace of 5.5 km per hour along a paved path so be prepared to stick with the group. (No racing ahead as I won't be chasing after anyone who gets lost).

No Shows: If you can't make it please play fair and remove yourself from the event ASAP so the waiting list moves. Anyone cancelling after the cut off time will receive a No Show. Not liking the weather is no excuse :-)

Please arrive on time, I will turn my cell phone off once we begin hiking and will likely not pick up voicemail
