We will be picking up the Bruce Trail where we left off on April 22, 2011 at Country Road 7 & Sideroad 22B. We will hike approximately 20 km to take us to the end of the Beaver Valley Section. We will be hiking at a pace of 5km/hour. This hike will involve a car shuttle so there can be no drop outs.

Required Items to Bring:

Layered clothing appropriate for the season (no jeans, no cotton)

Lunch and snacks

At least 2 litres of water

First aid kit

Appropriate foot wear - hiking boots/trail shoes

Rain gear

Money for carpool costs and dinner

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $88.75 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Tuesday, November 4, 2025). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:

All participants must have previous D4 level hiking experience. Participants may be removed if they do not have previous D4 level hikes or equivalent experience. Please contact coordinator to discuss previous experience if you are new to the club.
