We'll be doing the big Hockley Valley loop(rather than an out-and-back) to achieve a distance of ~21.5k (note there is a recent reroute that may slightly change the distance).

Participants must be able to hike ~21.5k at a minimum pace of 4.5k/hr. This will be a long, hot day over hilly terrain!

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $40.51 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Sunday, January 11, 2026). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.
