Itinerary: | |||||||
This is a great opportunity to practice/develop your night vision skills in a winter environment and explore one of the most beautiful ravines in Toronto. We will meet in front of St. Clair subway station (south walk-side of St. Clair Av E). We will be following the loop in the Central Ravines Discovery Walk:
1) Enter into the Vale of Avoca Ravine from St. Clair and turn north The expected walking speed will be 3km/hr (we will NOT be running, but it is not a slow walk). We are expected to walk over snow and/or ice (Winter boots are mandatory). There is a map at http://www.toronto.ca/parks/brochures/walks/DW_Central.pdf (we are NOT doing the Belt Line). It is winter, please dress in layers | |||||||
