Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.

This 7.5 KM hike will both start and finish at Chester Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved multi use trails and single track dirt trails.

In terms of hills, there should be one easy 25 meter climb and one though climb for about 50 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break in Riverdale Park East about 2.5 KM into the hike.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.

Post hike, if anyone is interested I might head over for a pint at the Auld Spot if you'd like to join.

    Event Directions:

    Chester Subway Station is located on the Bloor/Danforth subway line. The Station is located 4 stops east of the Yonge line.
    We'll meet at west station entrance. The one with the collectors booth.
    In unfavorable weather, I'll just be standing inside the station.

    For those of you driving, Chester Station is located north of the intersection of Chester & Danforth. Address is 22 Chester Avenue.

    In terms of parking, there's a parking lot, across the street from the west entrance.
