Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.

This 10 KM KM hike will both start and finish at Chaplin Station, located on the Eglinton Crosstown.

The hike will be on a combination of wide gravel trails, sidewalks, paved park paths and single track trails.

In terms of hills, there should be one climb of 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at Phil White Arena located about 3.5 KM into the hike.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'HERE ON AMAZON'.

Post hike, if anyone's interest I might head over to the The Abbot on Eglinton pub for a pint if anyone would like to join.

    Chaplin LRT Station is located on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, two stops east of Cedarvale and Station and 2 stations west of Eglinton.

    We'll meet on the North-east corner of Eglinton Avenue & Chaplin Crescent.
    If the weather is unfavorable, I'll be just inside the station doors.

    For those of you driving, Chaplin Station is located at 576 Eglinton Ave West, about halfway between Avenue Road & Bathurst Street.

    In terms of parking, there's a Green P parking lot located at 125 Burnaby Blvd.
    Other options include street parking on Gilgorm Rd or Latimer Ave, which are located just east of Chaplin, north of Eglinton.
