Itinerary:

So, I'm trying out some more new trails in the Don Valley.

This 13 KM hike will both start and finish at Wynford Crosstown Station, underneath the bridge over Eglinton on Wynford Drive

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved park paths and single track dirt trails.

Please be advised that we will be doing about 3 KM worth of challenging mountain bike trails,
so if you're not comfortable walking on narrow cliffs, that are often muddy and slick, then this hike might not be the right one for you

In terms of hills, I have about 7 climbs of 25 meters as well as a 50 meter climb.
Also, there might be a sketchy downhill, but I haven't been on that trail yet, so we'll see.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at a Tim Hortons, just 500 meters into the hike.
Also, I'll stop at the Broadlands Community Centre located about 9 KM into the hike.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

For this hike, we'll meet at Wynford Crosstown Station, which is located on Line 5, Eglinton Crosstown, 2 stations east of Don Valley & 8 stations west of Kennedy.

Walk over to the pedestrian traffic light and turn left (NORTH) to cross Eglinton.
After crossing Eglinton, turn right (EAST),
Before crossing the bridge, you should see a set of stairs down to Wynford Drive, where you should fine me.
For those of you driving, the closest approx. address is 193 Wynford Drive.
In terms of parking, there's a paid parking lot at the Aga Khan Museum - address is 77 Wynford Drive.
After parking, just follow Wynford Drive over the DVP and then south to the bridge under Eglinton.
Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt, sitting under the bridge like a troll.
