Itinerary:

So, welcome to my fall lookout series for 2026.
In this series we'll be hiking to various locations that are known for their spectacular views in the fall.
No guarantees that it will be perfect, but I hope by doing a hike every week in October, we'll get some great views.

This 11 KM hike will both start and finish at Scarborough GO Station.

Plan for the hike today.

  • Hike to the top of the Bluffs to check out the view
  • Hike to the bottom to check out the view
  • Struggle back up to the top and head back to the GO Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, single track dirt trails and multi use trails.

In terms of hills, we'll have to climb the largest road hill in Toronto, which is about 110 meters.
Please be advised that the seasonal bus to Bluffer's Park does not run, so once you come down the hill, you are committed.
There will be 2 other 25 meter climbs, but will feel like nothing in comparison to the long climb.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break in Bluffers Park, located about 6 KM into the hike.

Post hike, I may head over to the Working Dog Saloon for a pint if you'd like to join.
