Itinerary:

So, with the opening of the Eglinton Crosstown, I'm finally getting more opportunities to explore the East Don trail.
This hike will give me opportunities to check out trails I haven't been on before

This 7.5 KM hike will both start and finish at Wynford Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, single track dirt trails, and paved park paths.

In terms of hills, there should be 3 climbs of about 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at a Tim Hortons, located just 500 meters or 6 KM into the hike, depending on the group's preference.

    Event Directions:

    For this hike, we'll meet at Wynford Crosstown Station, which is located on Line 5, Eglinton Crosstown, 2 stations east of Don Valley & 8 stations west of Kennedy.

      To find me after getting off at Wynford Station.
    • Walk over to the pedestrian traffic light and turn left (NORTH) to cross Eglinton.
    • After crossing Eglinton, turn right (EAST),
    • Before crossing the bridge, you should see a set of stairs down to Wynford Drive, where you should fine me.

      For those of you driving, the closest approx. address is 193 Wynford Drive.
      In terms of parking, there's a plaza at 150 Wynford Drive.
      After parking, just walk down Wynford to the meeting point under Eglinton.

      Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt, sitting under the bridge like a troll.
