Itinerary:

This is an event for people who already paddled the Humber, enjoyed the scenery, but are now ready to improve their kayaking form, in particular holding steady pace for longer periods of time. The plan is to go to the lake and back while exploring tips to improve your forward stroke.

10:00am-10:30am. Briefing: discussion of route, goals, safety.

10:30am-12:30pm.You will be renting a kayak at Toronto Adventures. If you have your own touring/sea kayak (>=13ft length), you can bring it with you, but allow extra time to unload it.

We will be using Tsunami 145 for this event. While we can not reserve the kayak type online, we can claim these boats once we arrive to the rental place. As usual, please have with you a waterproof bag with a change of clothes, in case you manage to get wet. A PFD (personal flotation device) must be worn at all times while on the water.

12:30pm-1pm. After the paddle we will have a debriefing and optionally have bring-your-own lunch and chat more about kayaking.

You're responsible for your own booking with Toronto Adventures. Click on the link, choose Book Now, select 30 May, 10:30am, 1 single kayak. After you've registered, please send me a text message confirming that you've paid.
