Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.

This 4.5 KM hike will both start and finish at Laird Crosstown Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved park paths and single track dirt trails.

In terms of hills, there should be one climb of about 25 meters and one climb of about 50 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at Wilket Creek Park, about 2 KM into the hike.

Today also marks my 16th anniversary as a TOC leader,
So post hike if anyone's interested I'm going to head over to the Amsterdam Barrel House for a pint if anyone would like to join.

    Event Directions:

    For this hike, we'll meet at Laird Crosstown Station, which is located on Line 5, Eglinton Crosstown, 3 stations east of Eglinton & 2 west of Don Valley.

    For those of you driving, Laird Crosstown Station is located at 811 Eglinton Avenue East and is located between Leslie & Bayview.
    In terms of parking, there's street parking on Donlea Drive, which is one street north of Eglinton or Divadale Drive, which is 2 streets north of Eglinton.

    We'll meet at the southwest corner of Eglinton & Laird.
    EDITORS NOTE: If you come out via an exit that doesn't have an elevator, you are at the wrong exit.

    Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt, standing outside the station.
    If its unfavorable weather, then I'll be standing just inside the station doors.
