Itinerary:

Beat the crowds (hopefully) with this morning hike to see the cherry blossoms. Weather permitting, the trees should be in bloom.

This Saturday morning hike will begin at High Park North Gates (High Park Ave. and Bloor St.) It will be about 6 km in total on a mix of paved trails, uneven dirt trails and sidewalks.

There will be a few hills but this is a fun walk and we will take breaks as needed. We will stop at cherry blossom trees and take a few minutes to photograph/admire them.

We will walk at a moderate pace, through High Park to the main cherry blossom tree area, along Grenadier Pond, then up to a second blossom area.

There will be a bathroom break and snack break one hour into the hike in High Park.

The hike will end at High Park Station with an option for a coffee and snack at Hannah's Cafe (space permitting).
