Itinerary:

So, I'll be the first to say that the Mount Dennis neighborhood of Toronto is one I don't know very well.
Well, there's no time like the present to get my baring.

This 9.5 KM hike will both start and finish at Mount Dennis Station.
EDITORS NOTE: There's one section of trail, I'm not sure about, so if it doesn't work out, this hike will be 7.5 Km.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, single track dirt trails, open fields and paved park paths.

In terms of hills, there should be 5 climbs of about 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break in Eglinton Flats at 1 KM and a second time at 6 KM.

Post hike, I might go grab a drink at the The Irish Rose Pub if anyone would like to join.

    Event Directions:

    Mount Dennis Station is located on Line 5, the Eglinton Crosstown, the Kitchener GO line as well as the UP Express.

    We'll meet at the exit to Eglinton Avenue West, closer to Weston Road.
    Address is 3520 Eglinton Avenue West.
    Its located beside the large bike parking facility.
    NOTE: if you've gone out an exit that is between 2 bridges, you're at the wrong one - just turn right (WEST) and walk over to the other one.

    In terms of driving, there's a paid parking lot at 1177 Weston Rd, which is just north of the station.
    There is also free parking at Eglinton Flats, but its about a 10 minute walk to Mount Dennis.
