Itinerary:

Did you know the Port Hope Arts Festival has been running for 22 consecutive years? On this event, we are going to discover local arts and crafts, enjoy some music and fun, food and creativity in a beautiful town known for its rich architectural heritage, vibrant arts community and Ontario’s best preserved 19th century streetscape.

There are a couple of things we are going to visit.
1) Farmers market: From fresh produce to local and regional handcrafted goods.
2) A 10-minute play series: Features 12 unique plays, staged in 6 outdoor locations downtown. We may visit a couple of them if the group is interested.
3) Art/chalk art around town: There will be artwork by numerous local artists, and colourful sidewalk chalk around town.
4) Festival fun at Memorial Park: There will be stilt walkers, live music, hands-on activities, food vendors…

Please note that there will be no carpool for this event. We will meet in front of the 'Municipality of Port Hope' building at 56 Queen St.

We plan to stay for 3 hours for the event, but you are free to stay as long as you want.
