| Itinerary: | |||||||
| We'll be starting our exploration at Spadina Station, main entrance. From there we'll be heading North.
 Things we'll see along the way include the Toronto Archive building , Casa Loma, Spadina House, Wychwood barns . Then we'll continue West on St Clair to see how the long delayed streetcar lines have impacted the neighbourhood. We'll conclude our hike with a free ride on a TTC heritage streetcar running between Bathurst and Lansdowne. The heritage streetcars are the red-maroon and yellow "Presidents' Conference Committee" streetcars that first operated in Toronto in the late 1930s and ended in the mid-1980s. These PCC streetcars are a real treat that will take you down memory lane to Toronto's past. Starting point is Spadina Subway Station, Main entrance just North Bloor. Meet by the collector booth. This is a one way hike that will end at St Clair West Subway Station. Total walk distance approximately 6KM. | |||||||
