EVENT DETAILS

So, I sprained my left ankle .... again. Its beginning to feel better, but its not 100%, so today I'm going to do a slow easy hike to
1. Build my ankle strength up again and
2. Ensure my belly doesn't gain too much drag from all this laying around and "healing"

So, today's 4 KM is just a short loop both starting and finishing at Midland Station.
Interesting spots include

  1. 'The Birkdale Ravine'.
  2. 'West Highland Creek'
  3. 'The Neighborhood of Midland Park'

This hike will be on a combination of wide paved park paths and sidewalks, which could be covered in ice/snow.

In terms of climbs, there are a few short ones, but none over 25 meters.

There is no washroom on the hike, sorry.

We'll aim for a pace of 3.5 to 4 KM/h

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.

PLEASE NOTE THAT LINE 1 IS CLOSED BETWEEN FINCH STATION & ST CLAIR STATION THIS WEEKEND
