So, the random hike picker has suggested this hike for tonight.

This 13 KM hike will both start and finish at Pioneer Village Subway Station. However, there's a potential drop off point at Finch West Station, about 9 KM into the hike.

This hike will be mainly paved park paths and neighborhoods. There's one section crossing a field, which might be wet as well as a short dirt trail.

We probably have about 4 hills on this route of at least 25 meters.

Sorry, I'm not expecting any washrooms to be open on this route. However, there are washroom located at the start / end point of this hike in the regional bus terminal.

Required Items to Bring:
  • Hiking boots or hiking shoes
  • Water 1-2 L and snacks
  • Weather appropriate clothing
  • Flashlight / headlight
  • Mask or face covering
  • Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
  • A smile.
  • First aid kit
  • Whistle

  • How to Get There:
    Event Directions:

Take Line 1, Yonge-University all the way north to Pioneer Village Station. This station is located 4 stations north of Sheppard West and 2 Stations south of Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.

We'll meet outside Steeles Exit to the Station, which is beside the regional bus terminal (NOT THE TTC ONE). For those of you who don't know the station, exit the station via the north staircase (if you don't know which is the north staircase, just follow the direction of the northbound train).

For those of you driving, address of the entrance is 2800 Steeles Avenue West, which is located on the north side of Steeles between Jane & Keele. There is a TTC parking lot just behind the bus terminal.

(Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt) - if its cold or wet, i'll just be in the station doors.
