EVENT DETAILS

So, this is my first time leading this section of the Bruce Trail around the Kilgorie area and visiting the Bell Lookout.
The Bruce Trail Associate just recently purchased new land in the area, so not instead of what was about a seven km loop, we're able to do a couple loops off roads for 13 KM.

Please bring a lunch and at least 1-2 Litres of water. We will find a place to stop for lunch somewhere along the trail.

EVENT STATS

  • Distance: 13 KM
  • Trail vs Road: 9 vs 4
  • Elevation Range: 125 Meters
  • Challenging Climbs of Note: 3 climbs of at least 50 meters and another 5 of at least 25 meters.
  • Largest Ascent: 75 m
  • Washrooms: No
  • Highlights: The Bell Lookout

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.
