EVENT DETAILS

So, on July 20th, I sprained my left ankle. Its beginning to feel better, but its not 100% yet, so I'm going to do a SLOW easy urban hike today, just to test the waters with it.

Today's 5 KM hike is just a loop in the Taylor Creek area both starting and finishing at Victoria Park Station.

This hike will be on a combination of neighborhood sidewalks, gravel trails & paved park paths.

I do have a washroom break planned for about an hour into the hike.

In terms of hills, there's two flights of stairs, however you can cheat on the first flight of stairs as there is an elevator.

Required Items to Bring:

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Victoria Park Station is located on the Danforth Subway Line, 2 stops west of Kennedy & 11 stops east of Yonge Station.

We'll just meet outside the Victoria Park Avenue entrance to the subway, which is beside the signal for the bus loop.

For those of you driving, Victoria Park Station is located just north of Danforth Avenue. Address is 777 Victoria Park Avenue. In terms of parking, there is a commuter lot located just south of the station entrance.
