Itinerary:

NOTE: THE CARPOOL LEAVES KIPLING STATION @ 10:00 AM< - Please be aware that there is a subway closure between Lawrence & St. Clair Station this weekend.

So, this is the 2nd time leading this short waterfall hike.

Today's hike will take us past the majestic lookout of Dundas Peak as well as two waterfalls in Tews Falls & Websters Falls for a 9 KM loop.

The greatest challenge will be the 100 meter climb right near the start of the hike. In the past, this narrow trail has been quite icy, so I highly recommend icers and hiking boots.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice. You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.

Pack a lunch, we'll stop in the picnic area around Webster's Falls about 5 KM in.

Individuals willing to drive will get priority on the wait list, if required.

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE ANSWER THE CARPOOL QUESTION IN REGARDS TO THE AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR, or else you may be moved to the wait list until this is completed!!!

For those of you who are choosing to meet at the event, please try to arrive on time.

I’ve set the maximum event count at 1 as I don’t want to add anyone to the event until I have enough carpool drivers to accommodate passengers. I will try accommodate 16-20 people.
