Itinerary:

Carpool leaves from Don Mills Station at 9:30 AM.

We will hike the first section of the seaton trail. This is a there and back hike with a little loop at the middle of the hike. We will be crossing the river over some rocks. Please be prepared for it.

We will be hiking at 4.5 km/hr and hope to finish in about a little under 2.5 hours. We will stop for lunch about half way into the hike, bringing total hike time to 3 hours.

Drivers, when you sign up for the hike, please mention the number of passengers you'll be able to take with you.

If you are meeting at the event, please arrive on time, as we will not be waiting past the hike start time.

hiking boots - it may be a bit muddy on the trail

From Don Mills Station

Exit Don Mills Station and turn left onto Sheppard Avenue.

At the first light, turn left onto the Don Valley Parkway.

In about 1 KM, follow the signs onto the 401 Eastbound and follow it for 24 KM.

Exit the highway at Regional Road 1, Brock Road (EXIT 399) and travel NORTH for 3.4 km

Turn left at Concession Road 3 for 1.5 KM

Parking for Grand Valley Park will be on your left.

I'VE SET THE MAXIMUM GROUP SIZE AS 4, AS THAT IS THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE I CAN FIT IN MY CAR. IF MORE CARPOOL DRIVERS SIGN UP, I'LL BE ABLE TO TAKE MORE HIKERS. THE MAXIMUM HIKERS THAT I AM PLANNING TO TAKE IS 12.
