Let us meet to see what is going on in Paradise this spring :). Enjoy this rather relaxing hike to explore, take photographs, see flowers and birds and, maybe, feed couple of them from your hand.

This is NON-COMPETITIVE hike and we go as a group to enjoy the spring vegetation and birding. Take your camera with you and some seeds for lovely birds.

CARPOOL DEPARTURE Kipling subway station passengers' pick-up, Sunday, April 28, 9:00 AM.
DISTANCE Ca. 12 to 15 km
PACE Ca 3 km/hour relaxing. No dropouts. We will hike as a group, and nobody will jump ahead leaving the group behind. Just look around on the way and enjoy the views and smell of spring.
TRAIL DETAILS We will hike in Cootes Paradise, come back to our cars and drive to Hendrie Valley. There is a picnic area where we can have our lunch. After that, we will proceed to Royal Botanical Gardens along the Grindstone Creek.
LUNCH Bring your lunch, plenty of water and snacks.
HIGHLIGHTS Hiking to see flowers and birds and enjoy the views.
PRIORITY Priority will go to DRIVERS WILLING TO TAKE PASSENGERS. Additional spots will be added depending on space in the carpool. Once drivers start signing up, I will move people from the waiting list to the event list. The real max. will be 16. Big thank you to drivers!!
WEATHER Cancellation in the case of heavy rain, lightning and/or thunder. NO PETS.

  • -CASH FOR CARPOOL if you are a passenger
  • -appropriate clothing for the weather.
