So admittedly, this hike is a little longer than what I normally do for a night urban hike, but I really enjoy this walk.
Especially, because we get to walk on a newly opened section of the Lake-To-Lake trail, which is a 121 km bike trail that goes between Lake Ontario and Lake Simcoe.
This hike starts a little earlier than normal and will be a loop both starting and finishing at Leslie Station for 15.5 km.
The majority of this hike is on paved trails are probably 4 small hills to provide a bit of challenge.
|How to Get There:|
We'll be meeting at the South-West corner of Sheppard Leslie, which is just outside Leslie Subway Station. Leslie station is located on the Sheppard Subway Line.
If arriving on the Subway Subway line, please exit the station following the signs marked "TO LESLIE STREET."
If you follow the the platform to the far east side, there is a corridor that will take you to the meeting point. If you don't know where the far east side of the platform is, follow the direction of the eastbound train.
If you go out an exit with a ticket booth or if there is a bus loop, you've gone the wrong way.
In terms of parking, there is a public parking lot on the North-West side of Leslie/Sheppard and is accessed from Sheppard Avenue.
