Itinerary:

Weekend Trip including Friday to Algonquin Park (3 full days, 2 nights) with opportunities to hike beautiful trails (Centennial Ridges 12 km, Mizzy Lake 13 km, Track and Tower 9+ km and maybe even small loop of Highland 20 km) with spectacular lookouts with still some fall colours. The length and difficulty will depend on weather conditions. IF there is an interest, we might go together on a short night hike after dinner (I know a suitable very interesting and scary trail). There will be also relaxing evenings with own homemade meals, beer/wine (responsibly), maybe a campfire, stargazing and more. You have to bring your own food for 3 days or cook at Wolf Den. We will have a potluck dinner on Saturday evening. Registration opens on September 4 (Tuesday) at 9:00 pm.

Only members with previous experience of hiking outside of GTA can attend. This trip is not suitable for new members. PLEASE NOTE that we will hike as a group, and nobody will jump ahead and run trails. The pace will be moderate. If you like to run trails, this trip is NOT for you.

The weekend including Friday will be a great opportunity to explore trails in Algonquin. I will organize hikes on each day including Friday weather permitting.

I booked all 4 wooden bunkhouses which each can accommodate up to 3-4 people (beds with all the bedding and towels). Max number of participants is 14. There are the following facilities in the house: Fully-equipped guest kitchen with fridge, food storage space & spices and everything you might need to prepare food including plates, cups and glasses. Common living room with harvest tables, books, games & fireplace, sauna, garden with chairs, patios & BBQ, washrooms and showers. PLEASE NOTE that you have to bring your own meals or cook at Wolf Den and prepare one dish for our Saturday's potluck dinner.

You have to take Friday, October 12 off in order to join as we want to avoid bad traffic and go hiking after lunch. You have to pay through TOC $75.00 before registration cut-off deadline which is set for September 16, Sunday. PLEASE NOTE that the amount is non-refundable starting September 17, 2018 (unless I will find someone with matching hiking experience willing to join and pay right away).

Those willing to drive may get preference on the waiting list. No pets.
