Itinerary:
We'll be hiking beside Etobicoke Creek and along the shore of Lake Ontario.

This is a D4 hike - I have never done this route and I am going by a 5 year old map of a mountain biking trail. We may need to do some bushwacking to find the trail. The route is a mix of dirt and paved trails.

This is an 10 km hike.

Start If coming by TTC, meet at Kipling Station (by the 112 West Mall bus dock) at 10:15 AM. If coming by car, meet us in front of the Neilson Park Creative Centre at 56 Neilson Road (we should arrive around 10:40 AM. Please arrive on time as we will be leaving on the 10:22 AM bus. If coming by car, be sure to be at the Neilson Park Creative Centre by 10:40 AM.
End This hike will end at Colonel Samuel Smith Park in South Etobicoke
Distance Approx. 10 km
Pace 4.5 km/hour (average pace for fit and younger individuals, above-average pace for others)
Trail Conditions We will be walking on a mix of sidewalks, paved trails and dirt trails.
Difficulty This is a D4 hike. The first part of the hike will be on dirt trails. I have not done the first part of the route and there likely will be bushwacking involved. There may also be parts that are steep. Please only sign up if you are able to handle these conditions.
