Itinerary:
This information session will include topics below : The different types of cross country skis, bindings and boots. The difference between wax-able and wax-less skis. What you need to know about wax-able skis and wax. The difference between track set and off track ( back country) skis, bindings and boots. Light touring skis that can be used for both on and off track skiing. What is skate skiing and equipments needed. The proper clothes to wear. Most people wear too much clothes the first time skiing and over heat. I will also have print outs of ski resort and free ski area in Southern Ontario. MEC is giving 10% off to all members that night who attend the event.

Event Directions:Take Sheppard subway to Bessarion Station. There is 2 hours underground free parking at MEC North York.
